Introduction of Ayurveda
Ayurveda is a natural system of medicine originated in India more than 5,000 years ago and "Mother of all healing". Ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit words Ayur (life) and Veda (science of knowledge). It is a system based on the understanding of the five great elements air, fire, water, earth, and ether, which are believed to be the basic components of all life, including the universe and the human body.Each of these elements has a set of particular qualities. All individuals are characterized into 3 categories based on a simplified form of the three vital energies called 'Doshas' Vatta, Pitta, and Kapha.

Abhayanga
Abhayanga is the most popular massage in Ayurveda,a traditional system of medicine from India. Abhayanga is a massage that's done with warm herbal oil. Shirodhara
Shirodhara comes from the two Sanskrit words "Shiro(head) and "Dhara(flow). It's an Ayurvedic healing technique that involves having someone pour liquid usually oil,milk,butter mik or water onto your forehead. Shirodhara stimulates the Marma points of the head. It is followed by a continuous, warm stream of Ayurvedic oil that is poured on and across the forehead. Massaging the head allows the oil to infuse deep in to the scalp layer, delivering a calming sensation which further passes to the internal peripheral nerves of the forehead.
Types of Shirodhara
- Sneha Dhara: It is uses herbal oils by mixing with different essentional oils. Highly beneficials for Pita and Vata disorders.
- Ksheer Dhara: Ksheer Dhara uses milk infused with herbs. Highly beneficials for Vata and Pitta,head aches,stress,insomnia and anxiety.
- Takra Dhara: Uses butter milk with special herbs. It is beneficial for Vatta disorders.
